I just wanted to start this off by saying that I am OVER THE MOON with this CD player. I have been looking for the right one for quite some time and as soon as I came across this one – I instantly fell in love with it.

I am a huge music enthusiast and therefore I have to listen to music whenever I do ANYTHING. Especially at home, headphones can’t always be practical and sometimes – they get in the way. And I’ve found that turning up the volume on my phone just doesn’t do the trick. I’ve tried multiple speakers and CD players but nothing even compares to Majority Homerton 2.

I’d like to start off by talking about its physical properties. Its dark grey, wooden design with silver elements really compliments my apartment’s interior fits in perfectly with its aesthetic. It has a modern look to it, however it also has classic CD elements to it so it makes up a nice combination. The screen on it is quite small but it is actually high in quality and displays images properly (podcast covers etc). Plus not only it is quite compact, but it is also light in weight – which I was pleasantly surprised about when I received it in the mail.

The initial setup was really straightforward and only took about five minutes, it came with instructions but they’re really not needed because of how simple yet effective the interface is. You can control the CD player either manually with a remote or via an app. I prefer using it manually as I love the old school feel of it.

Majority Homerton 2 has a wide range of connection options! Not only it can connect via USB, WiFi and Bluetooth – but also Spotify and many different radio and podcast channels. Honestly it is suitable for just about anyone! I absolutely adore the fact that I can listen to Spotify through it as it is my main streaming service. While I mainly listen to music – Majority Homerton 2 also offers many different podcast channels and genres which I think is a huge bonus as a lot of people prefer podcasts to music. It also has an option to set alarms, explore thousands of global radio stations and the ability to listen to DAB radio. I also love collecting music CD’s, which is also one of the reasons why I love Majority Homerton 2 so much. Most modern speakers and players do not support CD’s anymore as they mainly rely on internet connection and streaming services. But this CD player is everything I could have asked for and it definitely exceeded my expectations.

I have just received the item and have already got it up and running in just a few minutes. I have also connected it to my hi-fi system using the handy 3.5 mm headphone socket.
