Stunning looks and build quality with excellent reception. This replaced a Roberts Dreamtime 2 which gave up the ghost. This is less than half the price and is way ahead in terms of reception/ sound/amount of stations picked up and build quality. The three year warranty is reassuring.

Looks good out of the box & the display is bright and easy to read.
The instructions are easy to understand which makes the set up very easy and we were up and running within minutes of the initial DAB scan.
Setting up the sleep and alarm functions is also easy.
The DAB reception is excellent, and we do not need to use the aerial to get a good signal.
Haven’t tried setting up the FM stations yet, so cannot comment on how good FM reception is in this part of the world on this radio!
Haven’t put batteries in yet, so cannot comment on its performance as a portable radio out of the house, but this is a good radio with a great sound- a bit “tinny” at high volumes but then what’s the point of playing a radio so loud that you cant hear it and the neighbours are banging on the walls.!
Only negative is that the scan did not find 5live Sports Extra (TMS Cricket) but maybe it is because there was no broadcast to receive at the time!

Ten minutes out of the box and 6 pre-sets on DAB in place, with plenty more to use when I feel like it. Fine tone for speech, e.g. BBC Radio4. Looks good and very good value at only £31.95 from iZilla.
