Where did you buy your product? Amazon
I was looking for a new soundbar to replace my aging Samsung soundbar. So I started looking on Amazon. I checked out several soundbars before stumbling across The Majority Everest 5.1. I must admit I’d never heard of the brand. But after reading several positive reviews I took the plunge and ordered it. It arrived in a really weird L shaped box which I thought was pretty cool. The first thing out of the box was the subwoofer which is a nice size. The speaker is side mounted with a bass reflex port on the front. The satellite speakers were next. They are really well made and come with metal stands which is a nice touch. Then finally the main soundbar unit, which is a nicely made unit and a lot beefier than my old Samsung which will give more air movement in the enclosure enhancing the sound. Setup was a breeze, plugged everything in, turned the main unit on, then the satellites and everything connected without a hitch. I initially connected the TV to the soundbar with an optical cable but have since changed that to ARC which works great. As for sounds this thing is really loud. The bass from the woofer is rich, no boominess at all. I like the way it brings itself in and out for some dramatic effect. Dialogue from the main unit is crystal clear using Dolby Audio. I was a bit unsure about charging the satellites on a regular basis by attaching them to the main unit, but 2 micro usb chargers and cables come with them, so I just leave them permanently connected to the mains. Much easier. The satellites themselves are great, while watching a movie last night a car came racing past me from behind. The effect was class. The remote control looks a little cheap compared to the rest of the parts but saying that it works well and the volumes and tones of all units can be adjusted individually which is pretty cool. It also has buttons for all the inputs on the back of the soundbar. I’ve also connected my phone by BT and played a few songs from you tube music and it sounds awesome with the sound coming from front and rear. All in all if you want a great sounding soundbar without breaking the bank you will not be disappointed with the Everest 5.1. It’s a great piece of kit.

I wanted to get a surround sound system for our music / movie room, but did not want to pay a fortune for one. After some internet research, Majority’s name kept cropping up…..after some time to consider, I decided to go for the Everest System….less than £200 when I bought it in April. I’ve had the system now for 3 months and I felt the need to write this review (I don’t normally bother) – such an amazing system for so little money. In the room where the unit is located, the performance is incredible and as a family we have spent hours enjoying the surround experience provided by this great system. I built some speaker stands for the rear speakers and the sound of the whole system is so rich, I am so glad I made the decision to buy…a small amount of money for what is a huge Cinema experience. Well done the Guys & Girls at Majority.

I am over the moon with this. The sound is really good – I’m not a sound buff – but it does everything I want it to do. I have the optical input in my sky box so I can listen to radio stations without needing the tv on which obviously also works for watching tv. Bluetooth is also good. Blown away by this which replaced an outdated Panasonic 5.1 system. It’s also very unobtrusive which is brilliant
