I’m pleased to report that the DVD120 player was everything I’d hoped for. It’s the first device of this kind I’ve ever owned, and I’m looking forward to watching all my favourite films, especially whilst travelling. It will also enable me to watch my own choice of films, whilst my wife is viewing things on TV that don’t interest me! There are many more control features on the DVD120 than I will ever need (e.g. connection to TV), but the instruction guide is both comprehensive and easy to understand. I also found the remote controller easy to use. In fact, I took to using the hand controller right from the start. I found the picture quality to be extremely impressive… crystal clear. On the audio front, unless you use earphones you will quickly become aware of some background noise from the disc driver, probably a feature of other DVD players. Therefore, I would strongly suggest using good-quality earphones. The Bluetooth facility on the DVD120 works brilliantly. Fortunately, my earphones also have “noise cancelling”. I was able to use the player whilst travelling on a commercial jet and found that all extraneous sounds, including engine noise, were completely suppressed. To summarise, I’m delighted with my DVD120. In my opinion this device is excellent value for money. So, very well done to the Oakcastle design and production team!
