Surprised how small the radio is but the sound quality is still excellent. Ideal for travelling with sleep mode and alarms. Able to get good DAB coverage but FM not so good in my location, however can get local FM stations not available on DAB which is good. Connected to my iPhone using Bluetooth without any problems. Not able to comment on battery life since have only had it for a few hours. Definitely recommended.

Received this radio today, 31/03/20, charged the inbuilt battery and tuned it in., all fairly simple even for a Luddite like me.
No problems so far but I’ve yet to use the alarm function, being retired I doubt whether that feature will get much use.
So far I am very pleased with the radio.

Small size, excellent sound. Too early to tell about battery life but if it does the claimed 11 hours or so I’ll be happy. We also have the small Sony which I bought for my partner to comapre it to, and it is virtually the same as the Sony – which is excellent, big sound from a small box, and really clear. The Eddington is pretty much the same sonically, but beats the Sony on the clarity of the info display. Eddington is also very well made – not as flimsy as you’d expect. Your choice – Sony for £75 or Eddington at £35. Me? I think the Eddington is a bargain!

Das Radio hat ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Es ist sehr leicht einzurichten und hat einen sehr guten Empfang bei DAB+ und UKW. Durch das RDS auf dem Farbdisplay werden Sender und Titel angezeigt. Zu meinen Vorgänger-Geräten war dieses Radio eine positive Überraschung. Mit dem Eddington habe ich innerhalb von 14 Tagen ein weiters Radio von Majority erworben und es besteht weiteres Interesse an ähnlichen Gräten in der Familie.

This personal and portable DAB/FM radio suits me perfectly. It has a speaker as well as the usual earphone socket. It has two quick preset buttons, which from experience with five is all I find I need. I like the fact that all other presets can be easily selected by scrolling a vertical list which shows the names of the stations that can be selected. It is great that the screen has colour which is not something on another DAB radio I have costing three times as much. The radio has all the features I could ever need. The instructions could be clearer from my personal point of view, but I cannot see how the radio itself could be improved. A winner.
