So I received them today 11/2 I had a Polk Audio SIGNA 2 and replaced it with the D 40. Now I think Polk Audio puts out amazing products and my Signa 2 was only about 6 months old, and now the but !!! About 3 months ago I had caught wind of Majority so I spent two months researching and listening to unboxing videos and there are a few channels that I trust there option so after all of the of everything I chose to sell my Polk Audio and ordered the D 40s now what were some of the selling points for me 1) The remote it’s a big multi functional device the PA remote was small and it was so small and the buttons were so close together if you didn’t look at what button you were pressing well sometimes it didn’t end well the buttons on the D40 there is spacing 2) Optical input and cord I looked at other companies won’t mention names but basically the same speakers higher cost only RCA connections I’m not a tree hugger but I find the fact that recycled materials were used and don’t get me wrong I’m 63 yr old who grew up on Bowie,Queen , Zeppelin,The Sweet ,you get the ideal I’ve been playing drums since I was nine yrs old brings me to my PA system problem those symbols hits those notes the Apegio runs down the neck were deep and the the Tony Iommi guitar sound like a car stuck in mud so in closing I’ve been listeng to these D 40s for about 3 hours Ive had Spotify Premium for probably 13 years and I have a playlist that would scare the common man I must say these are a absolutely a quality made with exceptional sound looking forward to purchasing more products when I can afford it and last but not forgotten is that soothing voice that flows from the speaker most speakers sound like a pinball machine bells and whistles that whole getting is well done personal touch very personal reflection of the company well I’ve been pushing letters for a while and well that’s a while to long Thank You for the way it was shipped nice packaging all around IMPRESSIVE. Bought to use with a pc and the sound is bright and clear with excellent bass. They are a good size for a computer desk, not too big and have a sleek design. For the price they are very good value.
