I like the deep base sound vibrating through the floor and the volume is loud enough and the DAB digital radio qaulity is very good,the FM reception is not as good but most FM radios dont have good reception,i like using the alarm timer to switch the radio or CD or buzzer sound on in the morning to wake me up and you can set the alarm to switch off aswell. —- I like the wood body and aluminium face its very well made. — The sound qaulity is so good it makes you want to keep listening because usualy i listen to a single speaker small radio and the price is very reasonable and from the moment of purchase from Robert Dyas to the delivery took only 2 days from the south of England to Inverness in the Scottish highlands.

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before buying the Oakington. Nowadays a lot of young people listen to music on phones and computers, as do I. But if you want good sound quality, which I’ve always been used to, being an oldie, those formats won’t do except for background sound. I didn’t want a big music system though, so bought this. The sound is amazing for a small unit. It’s so nice to be able to pick out all the subtlety in a piece of music. Very happy.

I purchased this for my mother. For the price I was very impressed by the whole unit. Well made, good sound quality and fairly easy to use once you read the instructions. I’m so impressed I have have to order one for myself
