Bought these as temporary speakers until I had the funds for more expensive ones. Cant really complain for the price.
Pros – Easy to install literally plug in a go.
Useful little dial for volume control.
Good left & right volume balance for
gaming.
Good long cable suitable for large
computer desks.
Cons – Sound quality isn’t the best for fast
paced gaming would be better fit for
desktop use.
Slight crackle when turning on for a few
seconds in my own experience.

with a pandemic happening all around my mum has discovered the joy of video conferencing and as her son and tech helper i am charged with sorting out any problems that arise. one recurring issue was with win10 updates causing the hdmi sound selection option to disappear when an update was pending. this knocked out the sound through the monitor speakers and although it is a simple fix my mum was getting frustrated with the situation.
the solution was a set of these usb powered pc speakers. compact, well made and by using the 3.5mm headphone jack the issue of disappearing sound… well, disappeared. providing a simple on/off and volume control in one button means using these speakers couldn’t be easier to use/adjust and the sound is very clear for speech which is perfect for video conferencing. superb at the price point!

For the price, I am really pleased with these speakers. I bought them to improve my PC sound quality and wished i’d done it years ago. The main reason was to improve the quality of sound for my course at uni, which is currently online, but listening to music or the spoken word has improved the sound quality immensely, and listening is now a pleasure as opposed to sort of ‘meh’. Build quality is fine for sitting on the desk either side of my screen.
Overall, really pleased!
